FOOD & ACCOMODATION
We offer twin shared or private accommodation with all modern amenities. This includes an attached bathroom and toilet with hot water facilities.
You can choose a single room or shared room as per your requirement.
We provide 3 Indian vegetarian meals and 3 herbal teas daily. Our food is prepared with love and care for health.
Note: We do not provide eggs and non-vegetarian food.
VISA & TRANSPORTATION
Please apply for tourist visa only! The purpose of your visit to India should be travel (Yoga and Meditation Retreat in Rishikesh). Tourist visa is easily available and has a longer duration.
You can fly to IGI Airport New Delhi.
We can provide pick up facility. Distance: (Delhi Airport to Rishikesh Yoga Mitram Yoga School – 250 km)
Or
You can also take the next flight from Delhi to Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun.
We can provide pick up facility. Distance: (Jolly Grant Airport to Rishikesh Yoga Mitram Yoga School – 20 km)
Yes we can provide pick up/taxi service but additional charges will apply for the same.
13. When should I reach Rishikesh Yoga Mitram Yoga School to join the Yoga course?
You must reach the school premises a day before the commencement of the classes. Complete the formalities and take enough rest to freshen yourself up for the class.
And You will leave the campus on the last day at 12 noon after completing all the pending formalities.
If you are coming in summer then bring some light cotton clothes. If your course is scheduled for winter, bring warm clothing such as sweaters and jackets with you.
If you are suffering from any kind of illness or disease then you can bring your own medicines as prescribed by your family doctor.
Yes, Rishikesh is a very safe place for everyone including women traveling alone. The local people are nice and friendly.
TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM
No, you do not need any experience before joining the Yoga Teacher Training Course. This course is for beginners as well as experienced people.
We teach traditional yoga in its pure form as described in the original yoga scriptures. And we conduct practical and theoretical classes to gain a really deep understanding of Yoga.
All classes will be conducted in English.our teachers are also from India, and English is not their first language, so only a basic understanding of English is required. if you can read this article here, so definitely you can join this course.
You will have some breaks during your daily schedule. Sundays are free as there are no classes, so you will have more time to explore.
No, you cannot join a teacher training program as it is a very intensive program.
In case of emergency, yes, but you have to inform the teacher about it from the class.
PAYMENTS
You will need to pay a small reservation fee using one of our payment methods. Rest of the fees can be paid by cash or bank transfer on arrival at the school.
In case of any personal issue, we are capable of delaying your course dates. Advance of course fee is non-refundable.

CERTIFICATION
Rishikesh Yoga Mitram Yoga School is registered with Yoga Alliance USA. So on completing teacher training course you will get Yoga Alliance certification with this certificate you can register yourself with Yoga Alliance as a registered yoga teacher (R.Y.T.). and you will be a certified yoga instructor to teach yoga worldwide.
